Moughton Engineering Services started in 1974 by Brian Moughton in a basic 200 sq/ft 1st floor workshop, and progressed over the years to it's present works. His Partner & Son Paul Moughton has recently taken over the reins, for the day to day running of the Engineering Business and continues to maintain the high values and standards set by his Father, which has become a recognised benchmark of Moughton's for Craftsmanship, Precision and Quality in engineering, manufacturing and fabrication for the oil industry.

Due to our increased customer base and demand by our customers for diversification throughout East ANglia and the UK, our first expansion programme was implemented in 1997. Adding another 2,000 square feet workshop onto our existing premises to cope with expansion on the fabrication side of our business. Also increasing staff levels by 20%.

We have added another 2,000 square feet unit to our premises giving us a total manufacturing base of 6,000 sq ft.

In this new building we have expanded and updated the precision engineering side of the company, bringing online a state of the art C.N.C. Milling machine. We have also invested in additional equipment such as 3m guillotines and punching machines, as well as increasing staff levels yet again.

All this expansion means that Moughton Engineering Services can now handle projects such as: toolmaking, fabrication for retail and leisure sectors e.g. signs, pop items & prototypes as well as oil and gas industries, hydraulics and coded welding. In all metals.

We also offer a 24 call out and on site work / installations. Still maintaining the same standards of quality, precision and commitment to service instilled in those early years.
