Moughton Engineering has a well-established reputation for its fabrication services in sectors such as offshore engineering, food processing and waste management.

The demanding oil and gas industry, in particular, is a key market in which Moughton Engineering undertakes contracts in mild steel and stainless steel for items such as wellhead control and HPU cabinets, skids, subsea components, pipework, frames to DNV 2.7-1 and DNV 2.7-3 standards, top side modules, subsea housings, nitrogen skid units, storage tanks and vessels and wireline tooling equipment.

Our services include not only fabrication but also repair, modification and installation, onshore and offshore, through a team of skilled and experienced engineers.

We pride ourselves in the care and attention to detail that goes into our work for all sectors. This includes the steel fabrication and installation of domestic, industrial and commercial walkways, handrails, cat ladders, stairways, fire escapes, gates/railings and mezzanine floors. These can be undertaken from a client’s drawings or from those produced by our in-house CAD team.

Our experiance fabricator/welders can also now fabricate person supporting structure to BSEN3834 & BSENISO1090 standards for CE marking to Execution level 3 both on and off shore.

We can also fabricate almost any type of steel building from the smallest lean-to extension to industrial warehouses, all erected by our own skilled workforce.

We design, supply and install carbon steel or stainless steel pipework systems for heating, ventilation, and gas/oil systems. These can be supplied welded and/or threaded for the petrochemical, oil and food processing industries.

We provide high quality coded welding and fabrication in TIG, MMA and MIG in stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and specialist alloys. Our qualified welders work with all recognised welding procedures combined and under the most stringent welding controls.

Among the wide range of finishes and coatings we offer are grit blasting, galvanizing, powder coating, wet spraying, anodizing and plating.
